Attempted burglary - Bromsgrove Road

Dear residents

In the early hours of 17th April 2026 people have been spotted on a driveway of a property on BROMSGROVE ROAD.  They were looking through the  letterbox and trying the front door, possibly to try and gain access to the property.  They were unsuccessful in this.

Keeping your home secure doesn’t have to be complicated. A few simple steps can make a big difference in deterring opportunistic crime:

✅ Always lock doors and windows, even when you’re at home or just popping out
✅ Leave a light on or use timer switches if you’re out in the evening
✅ Keep keys and valuables out of sight, especially near doors and windows
✅ Secure sheds, garages and side gates – tools can be used to break into homes
✅ Don’t leave packaging from new items (TVs, electronics) outside for others to see
✅ Report any suspicious behaviour in your area – trust your instincts
✅ Look out for your neighbours and consider a neighbourhood watch approach
