Burglary on the ward

On Sunday 19th April around 0300 hours we have had a burglary carried out in Weald Close where suspects have entered the property from the rear, breaking the door lock and conducting a search of the main bedroom. A vehicle belonging to the owner was also taken.

Leaving ground floor windows, doors and patio doors open in the summer can give burglars the perfect opportunity.

If you're upstairs or out of the room, even just for a few minutes, close them and help shut burglars out.
