Dear Resident Tackling Off-Road Anti-Social Behaviour - Binley Woods On 18 April 2026, officers from Rugby Rural Safer Neighbourhood Team carried out high‑visibility mobile and foot patrols within the Binley and Brandon Woods area in response to ongoing concerns surrounding nuisance off‑road motorcycles and quad bikes. The misuse of these vehicles has caused significant environmental damage, including erosion of pathways and green spaces, as well as criminal damage to boundary gates, fencing, and access points. As a result of this targeted activity, officers successfully intercepted three off‑road motorcycles being ridden illegally within the area. All riders were dealt with appropriately and issued with Section 59 warnings under the Police Reform Act. The warnings were clearly explained, including that any further offences may result in the seizure of their vehicles. We ask residents to continue reporting incidents, providing as much detail as possible, including:
