Update on Section 35 Dispersal Order

The Section 35 Dispersal Order currently in place within Kingston Town Centre has been extended. The order, which was due to expire at 1400hrs today, will now remain in effect until 0300hrs on 20/04/2026.

This extension is to support ongoing public safety following the recent incident. Police will continue to maintain a visible presence in the town centre and engage with the community to help prevent further disorder and provide reassurance to residents, visitors and local businesses.
