PCSO Clark and PCSO Robson have conducted foot patrol around the Willington areas with Durham Constabularyโs crime prevention team on the back of reported burglaries within Low Willington Industrial Estate. Foot Patrol has been conducted at The Spectrum Willington following numerous incidents of Anti-social behaviour. Crook Neighbourhood Team are working closely with partner agencies to reduce the demands in relation to this building. Our speed watch volunteers have been out in the local community. Since the last update, 307 vehicles have been observed, and 19 letters have been sent out to speeding vehicles. PSCO Clark and PCSO Lane has attended the Methodist Church, Willington for their Spring Fair. Thank you for having us! A female suspect has been arrested in relation to 2 shoplifting offences at CO-OP, Willington and The Premier Store. A stolen vehicle was located in Howden-Le-Wear by officers on the Crook Neighbourhood Team, another was in Billy Row, Crook. Both vehicles have been recovered. Officers attended Tow Law PACT Meeting where residents brought up issues with vehicles parking outside takeaways in Dans Castle and blocking roads. Officers immediately attended and cleared all vehicles. During mobile patrols in Hunwick, officer have issued a Vehicle Defect Notice to an unroadworthy vehicle.
