I wanted to provide an update regarding Mobile phone theft, which some members around this area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the Met Engage priority survey. 🚨 Community Update – Phone Snatch Thefts (Dalston/Narrow Way area)
We are aware of recent reports of phone snatch thefts in the local area during the early hours of the morning, including around Bohemia Place and Dalston Lane.
Your Safer Neighbourhood Team is carrying out targeted patrols and working to identify those responsible.
Please take extra care, especially late at night and early mornings:
• Keep your phone out of sight when walking
• Avoid using your phone near the road edge
• Stay aware of your surroundings and consider walking with others where possible
• If you feel unsafe, move to a well-lit area or into a nearby shop/café
Report incidents:
• If it’s happening now / there is immediate danger: call 999
• Non-emergency reporting: call 101 or report online
