E scooter & E bikes |

Good afternoon, With the nights getting lighter and the weather (hopefully) getting warmer, your children will want to be out more and potentially will be on an E-scooter or an E-bike. I would like to say again that these are not to be ridden on roads, pavements, cycle lanes, car parks or any public space, but can be ridden on private land with the landowners permission. It is legal for stores to sell these items and it is legal to buy them and if you get one then your child will want to be out on it. All we ask that you have a talk to your child not to ride the scooter/bike in an anti-social manner. Maybe wear a helmet as an extra safety measure. If you are thinking of getting on of these E-Scooters or E-bikes for your child, we have some information leaflets. If you would like some information leaflets, let me know your address and I will post you some leaflets through your door next time I am in your area. Thank you. PCSO 7346 Steve Charnley
