On Thursday 16th April PC Noone and PC Service from the Burnage and Levenshulme neighbourhood team conducted speed enforcement on Kingsway. During the deployment several vehicles were recorded exceeding the speed limit with the highest being 61mph in a 30mph zone.
This driver will now be summonsed to attend court. Following on from the speed enforcement a vehicle was sighted on Arbor Drive Burnage. The driver was a provisional licence holder being supervised by a non-licence holder with no L plates on display. The driver will now be summonsed to attend court for driving overwise than in accordance with a licence and no insurance.
Towards the end of the shift the team attended a report of an RTC on Burnage Lane where a vehicle had collided with several other vehicles. The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.
Please continue to report any concerns you have regarding traffic issues and the wider Burnage area to your local neighbourhood team. Alternatively, you can report concerns anonymously via Crimestoppers. | ||
