Community Safety Message – Rogue Traders We are urging residents in the Hatherley area to remain vigilant after police have received reports of rogue traders operating locally. Rogue traders may offer services such as driveway repairs, roofing, gardening, or other household work, often claiming to have leftover materials or offering time‑limited deals. These traders may pressure residents into agreeing to work that is overpriced, poorly carried out, or not completed at all. Please remember: If you believe you have been a victim of rogue trading, please report it to Gloucestershire Trading Standards, who work with police to identify and stop these offenders. If you see suspicious activity or are approached by someone you believe may be a rogue trader, report it to the police via 101. If you feel threatened or in immediate danger, call 999. By remaining alert and reporting concerns, you can help keep yourself and your neighbours safe. Please note, we're unable to accept reports of crime through Your Neighbourhood Alerts. You can report non-emergency crime online here. Always call 999 in an emergency. | ||
