Burglary Near You - Bankfield Drive, Nab Wood BD18

Dear Resident

You are receiving this message because you live in the vicinity of a burglary that occurred on Bankfield Drive, Nab Wood, this occurred sometime between 11am and 2pm on 16/04/2026. The unidentified suspect/s gained entry by snapping the cylinder door lock. A quantity of jewellery has been reported stolen. 

Crime occurrence 13260214202 refers. 

Firstly if you have CCTV or a doorbell camera please check it between (please add times if known) to check if you had any activations. 

Secondly if you have a door with a cylinder lock (composite or UPVC doors mainly) please check the lock. 

Make sure you are satisfied with the rating and is fitted correctly. The locks we recommend have 3 stars written on the front (see image) and are TS007 or SS312 rated. Many firms offer these anti-snap locks. Whilst we do not wish to scare anyone, it is always good to review your own security, and report anything suspicious to the Police.
