Male arrested after Theft from Motor Vehicle

Chelsea Safer Neighbourhood Officers were on Beaufort Street and were alerted to a male on a motorbike that had stolen items by smashing a window on a parked vehicle. 

Suspect made off towards Cheyne Walk gesturing in an unfriendly manner to officers….

Victim attended the scene and stated that the item stolen was tagged and could trace the item. Officers traced the item to an address in Fulham and on attending found various items. CCTV from the area showed the suspect throwing items away and not wearing gloves. These items were recovered and used for fingerprint evidence. 

Suspect was arrested and taken into custody for theft from motor vehicle, fraud by false representation, going equipped, no vehicle tax and no insurance.

I'm sure his gestures stopped in custody.
