Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Nothing to report Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle Between 8.00pm on Wednesday 8 and 8.00am on Thursday 9 April in Mayfield Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a white Ford Transit van parked on the street was stolen. At sometime between the middle of March and Friday 9 April in Cookson Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a white Audi A1 s-line 25, parked at the kerbside was stolen Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft Overnight Friday 9 to Saturday 10 April at Winshaw Well farm, Derby Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, an attempt was made to remove the wheel lock from a horse trailer in a field. Criminal Damage Around 7.30pm on Saturday 10 April in New Close, Kirkby in Ashfield, two 14year old males threw bricks and smashed the car boot window of a silver Vauxhall car, both wearing balaclavas, one in a grey tracksuit the second in a black tracksuit. They returned at 4.17pm on Sunday 11 April trying the door handles of cars in the car park. At 8.22am on Sunday 12 April a report of ongoing issues with teenagers gathering in Lea Lane, Selston, drinking at the bottom of the Lane and were abusive when asked to leave. On Friday 10 April around 8.00pm they were throwing stones and damaged a car At 10.14pm on Monday 12 April in Westdale Road, Jacksdale an object was thrown at a kitchen window smashing the outer pane of glass. ASB At 7.40pm on Friday 9 April in Beacon Drive, Kirkby in Ashfield, report of two motorbikes being ridden in the car park, on paths and in the park. A red and white dirt bike and a blue dirt bike. The riders were wearing dark tracksuits, balaclavas and no helmets. Approximately five others were taking turns to ride the bikes. A report at 5.06pm on Saturday 11 April from Lea Lane, Selston that at various times over the past two weeks large gatherings of youngsters have taken place. Stones were thrown at a house and plants in a garden damaged. At 8.31pm on Sunday 11 April in Birch Tree Crescent, Kirkby in Ashfield, a large gathering of 15/16 year old teenagers was taking place in a field at the back of the callers house, they were playing loud music and making a lot of noise. This has been an issue for the past few days. At 9.23pm on Sunday 11 April in Station Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, eight male teenagers, 16/17 years old were moving chairs around and swearing at staff in Domino’s Pizza.
