Street Robbery prevention event and patrols in/around Fish Island

Dear residents, 

Officers from Bow East SNT recently carried out high-visibility patrols in the Fish Island area. During the patrol, officers spoke with students at Wick Park student accommodation, as well as local residents and shopkeepers.

Officers provided reassurance  and delivered crime prevention advice, including remaining vigilant and avoiding displaying mobile phones in public. Immobilise property register QR code leaflets were distributed, encouraging residents to register their devices to assist with recovery if lost or stolen.

Positive engagement achieved, with members of the public receptive to the advice given.
