Patch Walk - Oakthorpe |
||
|
This morning, officers from the Forest Beat Team carried out a patch walk accompanied by members of the Parish Council
We walked around the village speaking with residents and listening to local concerns. One issue raised by was pavement parking
Residents are reminded that if a vehicle is parked fully on the pavement and completely obstructing the footpath, making it unsafe or impassable for pedestrians (including wheelchair or pram users), this can be reported to Leicestershire Police via 101 or online
If a vehicle is blocking access to a private driveway, this should usually be reported to the local authority’s parking enforcement team. However, if the obstruction is preventing a vehicle from leaving and is causing an immediate issue, it may also be appropriate to contact 101
We would like to thank all the residents who took the time to speak with us today — your feedback is valued and helps shape our local policing activity
"We want to hear what you think" The latest Neighbourhood Link confidence survey is now live. Please see the code below to scan, share, and provide your feedback. This helps ensure that your views and ideas reach the correct beat team and can be considered when setting local policing priorities.
