Wardleworth Residents |
||
|
Hi everyone. Over the past week, we’ve been out and about in Wardleworth because of ongoing concerns around drugs and drug dealing. We know residents are fed up with cannabis use, drug dealing, and discarded nitrous oxide (NOS) canisters being left on streets, alleyways, and near parks and shops.
We are actively patrolling known hotspot areas across Wardleworth and taking action where we find people using or dealing drugs. Anyone caught can be arrested, charged, and have drugs, cash, phones, and vehicles seized. This behaviour has real consequences.
Leaving drug litter and NOS canisters behind is dangerous and unacceptable, especially in areas where children and families live. This is not something we will ignore.
If you see suspicious behaviour, drug dealing, or groups gathering to use drugs, please report it. You don’t need to give your name, and the information you provide genuinely helps us target the right areas.
We will continue patrols and enforcement work to deal with these issues and keep Wardleworth a safer place to live.
In an emergency, always call 999. For non urgent information, contact 101 or report online.
