✅ Good News from Your Local Policing Team ✅

This week, St Matt's neighbourhood team have been busy in and around the town. Shoplifters who are prolific have been arrested after several offences took place. We have also seized two vehicles in and around the town centre that had no insurance and have since taken them away. Officers from the local neighbourhood have also conducted ASB patrols in and around different housing places alongside Green Square Accord, making sure everyone living there are well. Officers have attended a PACT meeting also to obtain the views and concerns of our local residents in the area. Officers have also carried out drug seizures after finding them in a vehicle that was stopped. We as a team have also remained proactive with out patrols especially in the town centre to make sure that members of public will have a good experience when visiting the town and that they feel safe.

📅 Upcoming Police & Community Engagements 📅

Speedwatches and streetwatches are coming up soon. The speedwatches are to take place in the Highgate area of Walsall, the streetwach is to be held in and around the area of Rushall. More patrols will be conducted and we will contibue to make positive engagements with the members of public.

🚨 Crime & Safety Updates — What You Need to Know 🚨

Recent events that have taken place are things such as shoplifts. This has been on a consistent crime, however we are tackling it more and more, getting lock ups for such offences and mainting a strong relationship between retail shops and the Police. We have also been tackling speeding issues that seem to becoming more consistent too by the likes of carrying out speedwatches.
