Motor vehicle crime alert

Morning Everyone,

There have been several cars either stolen or broken into, this month, on one of our nearby wards.

It is possible that these crimes may have committed by an orchestrated group that have come into the area.

In anticipation of these car criminals heading on to our ward, can I please make you all aware of this.

Please help me, by removing anything of value from all your vehicles, especially during the night-times, remaining vigilant and calling 999 if you see any suspicious behaviour, in and around your location.

I am aware that a lot of Whitton residents are securing their vehicles very well, by adding good steering locks and other vehicle crime prevention equipment, which also includes fitting driveway bollards at the front of driveways.

I am monitoring the crimes and focusing my patrols accordingly, both on foot and in a police vehicle.

Please help each other keeping your area safe and please let me known if you think you have any information.
