Morning all. I'm back online after a long break due to holiday and sickness. All is well now, except the fact that I want t still be on holiday! The teams have still been busy in my absence though, catching criminals and being proactive. At last check, our sister teams and us were at the top of the arrest count. (This isn't because there are loads of criminals in Morden so don't worry, we're just really proactive). Here are some examples of recent arrests. One suspect was arrested driving past our own base (Mitcham). Stopped and nicked for possession with intent to supply a tonne of drugs. (Not actually a tonne, but a big bagful).Facial recognition brought in another for failing to appear miles away for one of the county forces. A long outstanding warrant was on his head, so we, and said force were chuffed.A PROLIFIC shoplifter was nicked bringing his reign of pilfering to a brief end, making the Morden shops very happy. Another outstanding warrant brought in an outstanding arrest, and he was promptly marched to a cell for another win.A criminal assaulted a member of shop staff so we swooped and nabbed the offender. The busy streets of Morden saw our teams bolt through them chasing another nick. Unfortunately, the suspect couldn't outpace our gazelles and the custody kettle was flicked on.More updates to follow, but if you can fill in the form below, we'll get on with the things that matter to you. Thanks and see you on the streets, Dave and the team |
