#APPEAL | We are appealing for information after two pedal cycles were stolen from two teenagers on the canal towpath at Hopwas Woods.
On Wednesday 1st April at around 3pm, two pedal cycles were stolen from a young male & female who had been cycling along the Birmingham & Fazeley Canal near to Hopwas Woods bridge.
The offender was a male, aged 20's, stocky build, wearing a grey Montrex tracksuit and a balaclava. He is said to have spoke with a Birmingham accent and had shown the victim what is believed to be the handle of a bladed item tucked into his waistband.
The offender was the pillion rider on a white Husqvarna crosser-type motorbike and part of a larger group all on motorbikes of varying kinds. They were last seen heading down Lichfield Road towards Tamworth.
The stolen pedal cycles were a dark blue Trek/8 and a black & yellow LIV Embolden 2.
