CRIME update for March 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Leen Police beat area during the month of March. 

Burglary residential = 3

Between 16/03 and 18/03 Hopedale Close – Washing machine and tv stolen.

Between 13/03 and 17/03 Millers Court – Number of items taken from address.

15/03 Brixton Road – Access gained via rear door Nike coat and 2 pairs of trainers stolen.

Criminal damage = 6

Between 18/03 and 24/03 St Peters Street – Vehicle keyed causing damage to most panels.

19/03 St Peters Street – Vehicle window smashed, untidy search nothing stolen.

Between 23/02 and 08/03 – Deakins Place – Vehicle marks, dents and scratches to vehicle.

10/03 Castle Retail Park – altercation with male kicking victim’s vehicle causing damage. 

12/03 Norton Street – Vehicle window smashed.

10/03 Auckland Close – Vehicle tyres slashed.

Theft of motor vehicle = 0

Theft from vehicle = 2

18/03 Denman Street Central – Wallet stolen from vehicle

Norton Street – Sunglasses and hockey kit bag stolen from vehicle

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
