CRIME update for March 2026 |

Dear Resident
Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the Leen Police beat area during the month of March.
Burglary residential = 3 Between 16/03 and 18/03 Hopedale Close – Washing machine and tv stolen. Between 13/03 and 17/03 Millers Court – Number of items taken from address. 15/03 Brixton Road – Access gained via rear door Nike coat and 2 pairs of trainers stolen.
Criminal damage = 6 Between 18/03 and 24/03 St Peters Street – Vehicle keyed causing damage to most panels. 19/03 St Peters Street – Vehicle window smashed, untidy search nothing stolen. Between 23/02 and 08/03 – Deakins Place – Vehicle marks, dents and scratches to vehicle. 10/03 Castle Retail Park – altercation with male kicking victim’s vehicle causing damage. 12/03 Norton Street – Vehicle window smashed. 10/03 Auckland Close – Vehicle tyres slashed.
Theft of motor vehicle = 0 Theft from vehicle = 2 18/03 Denman Street Central – Wallet stolen from vehicle Norton Street – Sunglasses and hockey kit bag stolen from vehicle
