Anti-social behaviour, North Plymouth |
||
|
Do you know where your children are?
Police are continuing to receive reports of anti-social behaviour in the north of the city, with identified hotspots including Transit Way and Derriford Retail Park.
Reports detail groups of youths riding bicycles within retail premises, obstructing staff, causing disorder, leaving litter, and acting in a manner that places members of the public at risk of harm.
This behaviour is unacceptable.
Parents and guardians are expected to take responsibility for the conduct of their children and to ensure they are not involved in such activity. Officers will be carrying out increased patrols in these areas, and where offences are identified, positive action will be taken. This may include the use of dispersal powers, seizure of property, and further enforcement where appropriate.
We will continue to work with local businesses and partners to address these issues. Anyone with information is encouraged to report concerns to police.
