Anti social parking around schools is a problem throughout communities with local residents having to deal with unsafe parking putting not only residents but the children at risk.
Using a different approach, local officers launched a poster competition at Brady Primary School Rainham. The posters were converted into leaflets with information on how residents can report unsafe/illegal parking direct to local authority and police online.
On 11th April Volunteer Police Cadets conducted a leaflet drop along Wennington Road and Lambs Lane South providing the leaflets containing the information to residents.
Poster competition winners will be chosen and a special assembly will take place at Brady Primary School to present prizes.
It is important to remember that the parking restrictions are there to keep children safe. Parking issues can be reported and we encourage residents to report illegal parking using the following links
