Catapult Seizures - Provender Way

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Catapults, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

This afternoon following a report from a member of the public, officers attended the area after concerns were raised about suspicious behaviour. Four individuals were detained and stop searched after being seen loitering on residential driveways and around parked vehicles. During the searches, two catapults were seized. We want to thank the resident who reported this incident. Information from the public plays a vital role in helping us respond quickly and keep neighbourhoods safe.

We encourage everyone to remain vigilant, particularly if you notice anyone:
- Loitering around vehicles or private driveways
- Acting unusually or showing interest in property without a clear reason
- Trying door handles or looking into vehicles

If you see something that doesn’t feel right, please trust your instincts and report it.
- In an emergency, always call 999
