E-scooters

Dear residents if you are intending to purchase and use an e-scooter be aware of the following :

An e-scooter continues to fall within the statutory definition of a motor vehicle. That includes  Segways, hover boards, go-peds, unicycles and u-wheels. Offences for riding any privately owned e-scooters in public areas and on roads include : driving /riding with no insurance, driving with no MOT, driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.  Privately owned E-scoters can only been used on private ground.
