We have recently had reports of elderly residents being scammed due to doorstep fraud.

Doorstep fraud occurs when a cold-caller offers you a service you don't need. They might claim to have noticed an issue with your property, such as the roof, and propose to fix it , jet washing your driveway for cash for an inflated price.
