prevention and proactive patrols

In recent days, SNT North Acton has conducted sustained foot patrols across multiple areas within North Acton. Patrols have focused in particular on the canal area, Icon Towers Island, and local parks, which are locations identified through resident reports as having issues related to drug use and drug dealing.

During these patrols, officers have also taken action to address safeguarding concerns. Several properties were identified and cleared following intelligence indicating cuckooing activity, as well as premises being used as brothels.

Patrols will continue over the coming week, with a focus on crime prevention relating to theft from motor vehicles, residential burglaries, and other reports of anti-social behaviour.
