Local Priorities Road safety issues Message

I wanted to provide you with an update regarding Road safety issues, which people around your area have highlighted as an issue of concern on the priority survey.

On Saturday 11th April, NPPT officers Pc 473 Davies & Pc 27 Edwards along with Pc 264 Pilarz and Pc 378 George from Ceredigion RPU (Roads Policing Unit) conducted a speed check operation at Boncath, following local concerns regarding speeding in the village.

Approximately 30 cars were observed driving through the village, with the highest speed recorded at 58mph, exceeding the speed limit by 38mph. The driver was stopped and reported for the offence.
