Yesterday, officers from D Relief Response and the Hindley Neighbourhood Team responded promptly to a report of a theft involving a large knife from a local store in Hindley.

Officers arrived within minutes and located two males matching the provided descriptions in the nearby area. Both were swiftly detained and arrested on suspicion of theft.

But wait — there’s more…
One of the males went on to earn a bonus arrest hat‑trick, being further arrested for:
➕ Possession of a bladed article
➕ Possession of an offensive weapon
➕ And being wanted on recall to prison

All stolen items and weapons were seized and taken off our streets, where they definitely don't belong.
