NW Scheme Ashling Crescent/Close Home Watch |
||
|
Dear member of NW Scheme Ashling Crescent/Close Home Watch My name is Alasdair Bavister and I'm a Membership Services Administrator (MSA) for OurWatch / Neighbourhood Alert. the national Neighbourhood Watch organisation and also a member of the executive of the Association of Dorset Watches (ADW). We're contacting all the registered Neighbourhood Watch Main Coordinators in Dorset by phone, to find out how things are, and to confirm that they and their schemes are active. All of you have registered yourselves with Neighbourhood Alert, either self registration or, mostly, via Dorset Alert, but hadn't been added to Ashling Crescent / Close scheme. Today I spoke with Peter Phillips, 6 Ashling Crescent, who has been the Main Coordinator for NW Scheme Ashling Crescent/Close Home Watch. Peter told me he's not able to continue as Main Coordinator and agreed that I contact all of you to find out if any of you are willing to take on this role. Basically, it's just keeping in contact with the other members / residents of Ashling Crescent / Close. With Peter's agreement, I have now added you to the scheme. If you don't already have one, a simple way to run a Neighbourhood Watch scheme is to set up a WhatsApp group which those who wish to, can then join. You might also like to encourage your neighbours to go to https://www.ourwatch.org.uk/joinNW They can then put in their postcode to find local schemes or they can click on "Become a Member" “Join Us”. I hope one of you will be willing to take over from Peter as the Main Coordinator for NW Scheme Ashling Crescent/Close Home Watch. This message has been copied to Amanda Anderson, Resilient Communities Coordinator, Dorset Police. All the best Alasdair Alasdair Bavister 07709 209355 | ||
