Appeal after road rage incident in Wangford

Police are appealing for witnesses after a road rage incident in Wangford.

On Tuesday 7 April, at approximately 12:30pm, a man cycling from Wangford on the B1126, near to junction of the A12, overtook a silver VW Polo car believing that it had pulled over. It is reported that the driver of the car then followed the cyclist to Wangford Road, Uggeshall where he got out of the vehicle and ran towards the victim, swearing and making threats.

The suspect is described as a white man in his 50s or 60s.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to this incident and asking any motorists driving in the area at the time of the incident with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
