Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling Between 3.00am and 3.15am on Friday 3 April in Nottingham Road, Selston, an attempt was made to get into a property via the bathroom window, items on the widow ledge were disturbed but the burglar slipped and fell onto the gravel leaving the window wide open. Nothing was stolen. Burglary Other Nothing to Report Theft of motor vehicle Between 8.00pm on Sunday 5 and 4.38pm on Monday 6 April in Edward Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a black and orange KTM 250cc motorbike, with no registration plate, was stolen from a shed. It was dumped and recovered later. At 1.07pm on Wednesday 8 April in Nuncargate Road, Annesley Woodhouse a white and blue Honda C90 motorbike was stolen from outside the Post Office. By three males all in black clothing. Two white males, mid 20’s, on Surron bikes, wearing balaclavas. Theft from motor vehicle In the early hours of Thursday 2 April in Gladstone Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a purse was stolen from a grey Ford Focus Zetec. Between 8.40am and 11.00am on Monday 6 April in Annesley Lane, Selston, the rear number plate was stolen from a red Renault Symbioz e-tech car. Theft Nothing to Report Violence against person At 12,32pm on Monday 6 April at the B&M Retail store, Station Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, a female customer was headbutted by a second female at the check out counter. The attacker was white, 50 years plus in age, with long grey hair below her shoulders, glasses, black trousers, black jumper with a poppy pin on and a wooden walking stick. Criminal Damage Between 9.00pm on Wednesday 1 and 10.30am on Thursday 2 April in Main Road, Jacksdale, padlocks on gates and a back door were interfered with, some shed doors were opened and a gas meter box was opened and the gas turned off. ASB At 7.30pm on Saturday 4 April in Richmond Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of two off road bikes being ridden in Coxmoor Woods by quite young teenagers in black clothing, one wearing a white helmet. At 12.18pm on Monday 6 April in Richmond Road, Kirkby in Ashfield, a report of three motor bikes being ridden into Coxmoor Woods from the Holidays Hill end. The riders were wearing dark clothing. At 12.30pm on Monday 6 April at New Selston Recreation Ground, Station Road, Selston, a small red and black motorbike was being ridden on the park by a young white teenager wearing a helmet. He was accompanied by a large white male. At 9.10pm on Tuesday 7 April at Domino’s Pizza, Station Street, Kirkby in Ashfield, four 10/11 year old white males on pushbikes were throwing things around and refusing to leave. A report at 10.11am on Wednesday 8 April in Beacon Drive, Kirkby in Ashfield, of motorbikes being ridden on the street with no number plates. It is suspected that they are involved in drug dealing and have frequent arguments with other residents on the street.
