Crimes reported over the past seven days. Burglary Dwelling At 6.20pm on Monday 6 April in Brierly Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a female tried to open the door to a flat and then removed boarding from a window to gain entry. She then opened the door and let in a male. Together they started placing items from the flat on the balcony before making off with them accompanied by a second female. Burglary Other Nothing to report Theft of motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft from motor vehicle Nothing to report Theft Between 2.30pm and 3.30pm on Thursday 2 April at the ASDA Supermarket, Priestsic Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a handbag was lost in the store. It was found in a bin in the ladies toilet but all the money inside had been stolen. At 1.33am on Sunday 5 April in Park Street, Sutton in Ashfield, two females ran off without paying their Taxi fare. At 1.40pm on Sunday 5 April at Kings Mill Farm, Kings Mill Road East, Sutton in Ashfield, a white male wearing a blue/black puffer jacket and black work trousers, and a white female with brown/red hair, wearing light blue jeans and a black jacket, walked off towards McDonald’s without paying their bill. Between 8.00am on Thursday 2 and 8.00pm on Sunday 5 April at Kings Mill Hospital, Mansfield Road, Sutton in Ashfield, cash was stolen from a patient’s handbag. A report at 3.10pm on Wednesday 8 April, at White Meadow Furniture Limited, Export Drive, Huthwaite, Sutton in Ashfield, of two males with a white flatbed lorry entering the compound in working hours, loading pallet's and taking them away. This has happened on a number of occasions with around 20 pallet’s being stolen on each occasion. Criminal Damage At some time in the day before 9.00pm on Friday 3 April in Chatsworth Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a car windscreen was smashed and cement powder scattered all over the car parked outside a property. Work had been carried out on the roof of the neighbouring property at the time. A report at 1.18pm on Wednesday 8 April in Brierly Road, Sutton in Ashfield, of a flat door being damaged and a window smashed at some time within the last week. At 9.28am on Tuesday 7 April in Burn Street, Sutton in Ashfield, a car was damaged. No further details. ASB At 6.02pm on Thursday 2 April in Huthwaite Road, Sutton in Ashfield, a report of a red off road dirt bike with no number plates being ridden at high speed up and down the road and weaving in and out of the traffic. The rider was not wearing a helmet. At 8.15pm on Tuesday 7 April in Outram Street, Sutton in Ashfield, two young males entered a store and started messing around. One had ginger hair, wearing a white t-shirt, blue shorts and a back pack. The second white male, also wearing a white t-shirt, grey shorts and black back pack. This is a regular problem.
