Sometime between 11.30pm on Saturday 4 April and 9.52am on Sunday 5 April, the Rose and Crown on High Street was broken into. Alcohol and food items were stolen from within. Detective Constable Phil Jowett, who is investigating, said: “If you saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area, or if you have any information that may help our investigation, please report it. “Additionally, if you were driving in the area at the times mentioned above and have a dash cam fitted, please check it in case you captured any useful footage of the incident. “I can be emailed via Philip.Jowett@herts.police.uk with any details you may have.” You can also report information online, speak to an operator in our Force Communications Room via our online web chat or call the non-emergency number 101, quoting 41/31085/26.
