Burglary alert - windows

Dear residents the warm weather has arrived. Make sure that your windows are secure, sash stops prevent someone opening sash windows enough to climb in.

Key operated locks are recommended for all other window types and any ground floor or accessible windows ( unless being used as a means of escape.)

Window opening restrictors allow you to ventilate your home but make sure they cannot be disengaged from outside.

Laminated glazing or security film is also recommended.
