Foot patrol (08/04/2026)

The band were back together today with Rick, Lee and Kerry out on the ward, incorporating open space patrols with coverage around lower Rush Green (7.99 miles).

The morning began with 2 miles of the Eastbrookend Country Park (p), which included catching up with visitors and staff at the Discovery Centre, passing the riding school and heading along Footpath 18 towards RM7's Harveys Lane.

Great Cullings (12pm, p), Valentines Way and Eastbrook Drive all followed, before full coverage around Parish Fields (12.32pm), including Lupin Close (p).

With Lee and Kerry heading back south, Rick made time to take in Lincoln Avenue, Lilac Gardens, Rose Glen, Laurel Crescent (1.20pm, p) and Gorseway, before journeying back via The Chase and the May and Baker Social Club.
