Leiston - Man hurt in pub assault

Police are appealing for information after a man was injured during an assault in a pub in Leiston.

The victim was trying to de-escalate an argument between two people in the Engineers Arms just after 7pm on 2 April.

He was punched to the floor and then punched again, causing a cut to his face. The man who assaulted him then left.
