BHS Trailer Safety Day - Irvine

Dear Resident,

We are pleased to share that Neighbourhood Watch Scotland will be joining the British Horse Society (BHS) and partner organisations at the upcoming BHS Trailer Safety Day.

⏰ 9:00am – 12:00 noon
📍 Ayrshire Trailers Ltd, Unit A, 3 Moorend, Shewalton Road, Irvine, KA11 5AW

This informative event will offer a range of practical workshops and expert advice, including:

Pre-travel checks and safety equipment, tyres, brakes, breakaway cable, fitness of trailer, weights, loading, trailer maintenance, floors, mirrors etc.

Hitching up and unhitching safely, reversing, visibility and manoeuvring techniques

Crime prevention advice, security and trailer identification

Large Animal Rescue awareness and display

Input from organisations including Police Scotland, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, SPARC and industry professionals
