Dear All, 

Further to the earlier communication today regarding human remains found in Brooks Wood. 

At present there is no information to suggest any third-party involvement. 

Enquiries are underway to understand what lead to the tragic passing of the deceased. 

Efforts are underway to notify next of kin. 

We appreciate this news may distress the local community - however, there is no indication of any ongoing risk to the public. 

This matter is being investigated by officers from NA BCU’s Criminal Investigations Department.
