NW Scheme Willow Mead |

Hello Andrew Further to our conversation last Thursday. My name is Alasdair Bavister and I'm a Membership Services Administrator (MSA) for OurWatch, the national Neighbourhood Watch organisation and also a member of the executive of the Association of Dorset Watches (ADW). We're contacting all the registered Neighbourhood Watch Main Coordinators in Dorset by phone, to find out how things are, and to confirm that they and their schemes are active. I can see that you last logged into Neighbourhood Alert in July 2025. You confirmed that NW Scheme Willow Mead is active with you as main Coordinator. There are only 2 people, including yourself, registered with the scheme online but you are actively communicating with your neighbours. You can suggest to neighbours that they can easily register to join the scheme by going to https://www.ourwatch.org.uk/joinNW As we discussed, the simplest way to run a NW group is to set up a WhatsApp group, e.g Willow Mead NW, make out a simple flyer to announce it and and invite all the neighbours to join by texting you their name, address and mobile phone number. Put them into your mobile phone "contacts" and add them to the WhatsApp group. You can then all keep in touch with neighbourhood information. Good luck and hoping to see an increase in the registered members of NW Scheme Willow Mead. This message has been copied to Amanda Anderson, Resilient Communities Coordinator, Dorset Police. All the best Alasdair Alasdair Bavister 07709 209355 | ||
