Seized Vehicles

During routine patrols this afternoon, the 4th of April 2026, PCSO’s 40420 and 40627, from the Nedge Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) identified a vehicle that had been declared SORN but was being kept on a public road.

Further checks revealed the vehicle had been reported as stolen. Recovery was arranged and the vehicle is no longer on the highway. Enquiries are ongoing.

In the same location, another vehicle was also identified as being used on the road with no valid road tax. The vehicle was subsequently seized.

These are examples of proactive patrol work helping to detect offences and keep our communities safe.
