Motor vehicle interference

I would like to make residents in the Burn Valley area aware of a recent incident on Whitby Walk and Spurn Walk, where unknown individuals have been trying car door handles in an attempt to identify vehicles that have been left unlocked.

Although no thefts have currently been reported, this behaviour is often used to target insecure vehicles, and we are urging residents to remain vigilant.

The Neighbourhood Policing Team will be carrying out increased patrols in the area and reviewing any available CCTV to identify those involved.
