OPERATION HOTWATCH

Between the 20th of March and 31st March, a renewed focus on two wheeled crime, targeting and seizing e‑bikes, scooters, mopeds, and any vehicle being used to facilitate criminality took place.  

Wimbledon Village have been working closely with the Wimbledon Town centre team and Mitcham officers to disrupt crimes being committed on two and four wheeled vehicles in the areas in Wimbledon, Mitcham, and Morden whilst also completing SNT patrols on their dedicated wards.

This has resulted in a number of vehicles seized for no insurance, arrests made for numerous driving offences and immigration checks along side our colleagues from the immigration office along Wimbledon Broadway.
