Stuston – Serious collision on A140 |

Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision on the A140 in Stuston.
Officers were called at just before 8am on Tuesday 31 March to reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a black Volkswagen Golf.
Ambulance crews were also in attendance and the pedestrian – aged in his 50s – was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital for treatment, with his injuries initially considered to be potentially life-threatening.
However, his condition is now described as stable with the injuries no longer as serious as first feared. He remains in hospital for treatment.
The road was closed for several hours, reopening at around 3.40pm on Tuesday afternoon.
Officers are appealing for witnesses including any other motorists driving in the area around the time of the collision with a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, who are asked to review the footage for any material that may be of assistance.
