#RESULTS | Cheetham, Crumpsall and Higher Blackley Neighbourhood Team 3 - Inspector Quinn 🚔

Today (02/04/26) officers conducted a Day of Action in partnership with Manchester City Council teams including the Trading Standards Team, Rough Sleeping Team and the Anti-Social Behaviour Team in your area. These visits included enforcement and support towards persons and premises in the community following information and intelligence provided by residents.

The operation saw officers and partners conduct numerous housing tenancy visits to support vulnerable residents in the community and also issue community protection warnings and notices to problem individuals.

Officers throughout the day conducted  numerous stop searches and also conducted arrests as part of enforcement action. We visited several vape shops and licensed premises in the Strangeways area seizing a combined total of an estimated £150,000 illicit vapes preventing these dangerous unregulated items from entering the community.

Inspector Derek Quinn of GMP's Team 3 Neighbourhood Team said: "These results today are a great result for Greater Manchester Police and our partners. We have conducted robust enforcement to those causing issues in the community and supported those who require it with assistance from our partners. We have seized thousands of pounds of harmful products from the streets of Greater Manchester that are now unable to be distributed into the community."
