Rogue Traders

Good afternoon everybody,

It would seem spring has now fully sprung, and that means many of you will be doing your spring cleaning, tidying up your gardens and looking at what work needs to be done on the house.  May I please remind you all that "Rogue Traders" also look at what work needs doing on your houses and gardens, especially this time of year when the weather is getting nicer.

Sadly, anyone can fall victim to a Rogue Trader and can get conned into either paying too much for low-quality work or 
handing over money to untrustworthy door-knockers before the work’s been completed.  If you receive a visit and are asked if you’d like some work carried out at your property, remember these five steps.

Please be vigilant of who you answer the door to, invite in to your homes and who you give any personal information to.  But most of all, if in doubt keep them out!! Don't be afraid to tell these people to go away and call 999 or 101 if you need Police assistance.
