Ward Safety Update: Successful Charges and Arrest

I’m pleased to share some positive news regarding recent police activity in our ward (Old Malden). Following a thorough investigation, the Metropolitan Police have secured five criminal charges against an individual linked to several serious local incidents.

The charges include:

- Two counts of robbery (relating to incidents on 26/03/2026 and 29/03/2026)  

- Assault causing Actual Bodily Harm  

- Affray  

- Criminal damage to property  

This outcome reflects the continued hard work and commitment of our local officers, and the wider team, who remain dedicated to keeping our community safe and holding offenders accountable.

The individual is now progressing through the judicial process. We hope this update provides reassurance that such incidents are taken seriously and dealt with robustly.
