📢 Community Update: Vehicle Sensor Thefts – VW Models

We want to make residents aware that we’ve seen a recent increase in stolen vehicle sensors from Volkswagen vehicles across the area. Other brands such as Mercedes and BMW have also been targeted; however, the issue is primarily affecting newer Volkswagen models.

These incidents have mainly taken place during the late evening and early hours of the morning throughout late March. Officers are actively patrolling affected streets, reviewing CCTV, and working with partners to identify those responsible.

We understand that this type of crime is concerning, but please be reassured that we are taking it seriously and focusing resources to prevent further incidents.
