Wapping - garages with stolen item!

On Saturday 27th March 2026, SNT Officers from Wapping and St Katharines Ward and Whitechapel ward were on foot patrols in and around the Wapping Estate area in the afternoon. 

We came across several Honda scooters that had no number plates. We looked for other means of identification but were unable, despite lots of effort. 

Later that evening PC SIDDIQUE (Wapping SNT) & PC REED (Whitechapel SNT) were patrolling the same area and came across three males by the garages and acting suspicious; the Officers approached them and two ran away, one got arrested for several charges.

We found that was related to the scene which was towed away, 

We also found loads of  bikes and cycles ; from the cycles we could identify as  stolen, we have been trying to reunite with their rightful owners.

But…

Not all bikes are on the bike register website!  so its very hard. 

The ones registered with the bike making kit and therefore registered on the bike register — easy peasy!!
