Crime Alert - Criminal Damage

Humberside Police are investigating reports of Criminal Damage to a number of vehicles that were parked in the Lodge Road / Moors Rd area. 18 vehicles have been damaged with spray paint. The incidents are believed to have occurred between 21:00 and 22:00 on 31/03/2026. The offenders are described as two young males, aged approx. 12-14, wearing grey tracksuits with their hoods up.

If you have any CCTV footage (including video doorbell), saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area around this time or have any information about the offenders please contact the police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting occurrence ref: 26000043168.

If you have been a victim of criminal damage, please follow the below prevention advice -

Contact the Police as soon as possible on 101, or on 999 if the incident is on-going.

Consider reviewing the general security of your property, including CCTV and lighting.

Increase the surveillance around the front of your property by restricting any boundary wall/fence to a maximum of 1m in height.

Consider defensive planting by planting spiky plants or bushes.

Keep the area around your property free from rubbish and debris as best you can.

Secure any items on your property such as wheelie bins, that could be used to cause damage.
