March Update
1 x missing young person was located in Willenhall and returned to Kent.
1 x male arrested for breaching his court order 1 x female arrested for failure to appear and recall to prison 1 x male arrested for 2 counts of assault and 1 x criminal damage 1 x male arrested for failure to appear 1 x male arrested as he was wanted for 2 offences, and when searched 6 wraps of crack cocaine were found in his possession.
Visited local shops in Willenhall Town with Walsall Council to set up a link radio scheme to allow shops/businesses to update/talk to each other and alert Walsall Council to deploy their cameras and follow any suspects/offenders. This scheme will also allow them to keep in contact with us when we are on duty and are active in the area.
ASB ASB warning letters were issued to youths who had been causing issues in MacDonald’s.
Patrols of Western Avenue have continued, and we have noticed a decrease in the number of calls. Patrols of Willenhall Town, we have not had any further issues but have received reports of ASB in Memorial Park. Schools have broken up for their Easter break, and we will be actively patrolling these ASB hotspots. We are working with Walsall Council to see if we can get cameras located in key areas where we have had reports of drug dealing. We visited an address with Walsall Housing Group regarding reports of drug dealing. WHG taking lead regarding housing breaches.
Police Surgeries have been conducted at Willenhall E-Act, St Thomas More and Pool Hayes to speak to pupils about ASB, fighting and truanting. Police Surgeries have also been conducted for the community at The Hive, Willenhall library and Queens Lea.
Patrols with Walsall Council Enforcement Officers have been conducted at Willenhall E-Act and Pool Hayes Comp. 8 tickets were issued and numerous drivers were advised. We will be doing more joint patrols to make the area safe for staff, school pupils and their families.
Upcoming Police Surgeries April 2026 14/04/26 - The Hive, New Invention Square 10.30 to 11.30 (Walsall Housing Group will also be attendance. 15/04/26 – Community Centre, Queens Lea 14.00 to 15.00 (Walsall Housing Group will also be attendance. 16/04/26 – Willenhall library, Walsall Street 10.00 to 11.00 (Local Councillors will also be in attendance) Please come along to speak to Officers about any concerns that you may have.
